Sydney’ born and bred, Steve Marx has mastered his craft as a DJ over the last 20 years, moving to London in the mid 90’S, he was influenced by the huge brands of the time such as Renaissance, Slinky and Ministry of Sound.
 
He quickly became a trusted name alongside the greats such as Nick Warren, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo, who still to this day insist on him for support whenever play down under!  
Now heading up the infamous onedotsixtwo label, with his cohorts Tripswitch and Gustin he is not just a DJ to be reconned with, but one of the taste makers of the progressive scene. 

Based back in his home town of Sydney and playing the biggest parties in Australia, Steve travels the world plying his craft at every opportunity, and is snapped up by promoters around the globe to play his amazing musical soundscapes. 
In recent years when since returning from Europe, he has played alongside John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and B2B with Eelke Kleijn cementing his place as a global name at the top of his game. 
 
At home in Sydney, alongside running his dance music show on Bondi Beach radio, he has regular appearances for Return to Rio, Boots and Catz among many more amazing events, it’s safe to say that Steve is a force to be reconned with for any dance floor!

Considered as an artist in constant evolution, Alec is one of the best brazillian electronic music producers with more releases abroad.

The constant search for perfection in his creations have brought the tracks included on national and international compilations of great labels.

Productions and remixes by Alec Araujo are found in the cases and tracklistings of established artists in the world electronic scene. With many productions spread all over Brazil and in the world, Alec is pointed as a good professional either from the public’s point of view or other artists.

As a result of all his work as a producer, he became one of the most important artist in the south of Brazil and one of the most promising producers of the country, playing in clubs like Warung and D-Edge.

The productions has a lot of supports from known djs/producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfould, Guy Mantzur, Darin Epsilon, Pole Folder and many others.

His rmxs of “Neon Lights” and “Vitamin” from Kraftwerk received big support of national and world-wide djs, including support of Wolfgang Fluer, Kraftwerk former. He said: “I love your rmxs of Neon Lights". Also included Alec in his book Ï Was A Robot”.

The most recent music by him released in July 2018 reached Beatport Top 100 chart, considered the most important of the world to buy or research electronic music.

His monthly show on Frisky Radio called Fenix, has the same name as his party in Brazil, and has an important point to inform the public, new talent and producers of electronic music in Brazil and the world. He is resident DJ on Progression, Progressive House project from D-Edge Club.

His music has been released on the biggest labels such as Sudbeat, Lost & Found, The Soundgarden, Replug Records and Movement Recordings to name a few. Needless to say the mix is superb, but in this listeners humble opinion the last 15 minutes are especially good.
