UK’s favourites Latmun and Wheats combine on return to Solid Grooves Raw with ‘Onset’.

One of the UK’s most exciting breakout stars of recent years, Latmun continues to grow and shine as one of the brightest talents within the global house scene. No stranger to collaborations, early September welcomes a fresh partner to proceedings as he pairs alongside fellow UK DJ/producer and fast-rising hotshot Wheats as both return to Solid Grooves Raw for the warping ‘Onset’.

A driving, murky cut accented by sweeping, tripped out vocal samples amongst fluctuating builds and breaks, ‘Onset’ delivers an unorthodox yet commanding effort primed for dark and hazy dancefloors.

As Warriors celebrates its fifth season at Sankeys Ibiza, residents Mark Jenkyns and Leftwing & Kody mix a double album composed of entirely exclusive tracks.

Returning to Sundays at the Playa D’en Bossa club, the party series recently announced their summer lineups spanning the likes of Groove Armada, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Skream, Huxley and VIVa founder Steve Lawler. Throughout the 2016 season residents Mark Jenkyns and Leftwing & Kody will be regular fixtures at the events, which is why VIVa have tapped them up to craft two mixes exemplary of Warriors’ distinct musical aesthetic.

Turning heads ever since his debut on Hot Creations four years ago, Mark Jenkyns has since followed up with appearances on Rinse, Dogmatik, Leftroom, Resonance and Crosstown Rebels, not to mention collaborating with Inxec as 12 Stories with a release on VIVa MUSiC last year. Meanwhile, Leftwing & Kody have been making waves since emerging in 2012, releasing on the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Creations and MadTech when not pioneering their own Lost Records imprint.

Jenkyns’ mix initiates with a percussive production from Leftroom founder Matt Tolfrey before erupting into lively material from names such as Resonance Records founder Max Chapman, Kreature and Tom Budden until a crunchy cut from Josh Butler concludes proceedings. Meanwhile, Leftwing & Kody’s tracklist sees the likes of Jey Kurmis, Solid Grooves founder Michael Bibi, Hauswerks & Anek, Cera Alba and ONNO, not to mention fast-rising newcomers Solardo.

Closing this October in elrow Music, we’ve summoned one of the biggest talents in the tech-house genre for our listeners. This ERM140 is delivered by one of our favorite Brits, Latmun. Joe Bradley is in an amazing shape and keeps proving it with every release he puts out. In this ‘Funky Drummer EP’ he gets it again, with a three tracker that will bang many dancefloors. Opening the EP with the track naming it, ‘Funky Drummer (Original Mix)’ is a straight-funk affair, with the perfect tech-house vibe infused to it and with an amazing set of vocals, giving the track a character of its own. Perfect for banging crowds and dancefloors. ‘Beat Boss (Original Mix)’ continues with that techy vibe, being a more structured track, with an amazing set of FX that break into madness and that will do the rounds perfectly in any dancefloor at any time. Closing the EP we have ‘Trippy Feeling (Original Mix)’, a track in which Latmun manages to pack up a nice set of sound FX and different psychedelic elements, with a steadier vibe, perfect for transient times in the dancefloor and to make any dancer wonder what’s going to be next. elrow Music continues to deliver great quality tracks for the floor, this time bringing yet another great name to the family. After another great delivery of high rolling remixes, elrow Music is back with our 149th release, by one of New York's most promising and rising stars: Eskuche. The American producer and DJ, now based in Ibiza, delivers us this 'Space EP', a groovy tech house affair filled with joyous energy.

The EP opens up with 'Paranoid (Original Mix)', a groove heavy track, with a steady progression, a great female vocal hook, and a trancey melody with acid touches, perfect for any moment on the dancefloor. The B-side of the record has the track naming the EP, 'Space (Original Mix)', a percussion and FX heavy track, with almost no melodic presence and a building structure that breaks softly past the middle of the track, making this the perfect transient track for less energetic moments on the floor.

All in all, a nice delivery by Eskuche, that keeps building himself a nice profile in the scene. Our next release will be our 150th, a great landmark for us at elrow Music! Watch this space!
