ᕼOᑎᗴY was born in Palm Beach County, Florida. While growing up in Palm Beach County, Honey would spend numerous of hours listening to all styles of music from Gospel, Soul, Blues, Reggae, Country, Jazz and even Opera. Her father was a bass guitarist in a well known local band. Honey began singing and harmonizing around the house when her parents noticed her powerful voice around the age of 7.

At the tender age of 8 Honeys mother had her singing in the youth choir at church, where she grew up singing. The rest as they say was history. Honey immediately began a love affair with singing, writing and performing it made her feel alive when she was on stage. She started going to the studio recording her original music. Honey performed at talent shows, high school events, community events, graduations, opened meetings for politicians and city commissioners. She was nick name the national anthem queen in her town. She also performed the national anthem for football games.

At one point in her life Honey formed a group by the name of D Girls which stood for her last name Dunning and consist of two artists, her and her brothers little sister, she later added two more to the R&B female group which together came up with the name Unek (unique). The group fell apart as they grew older and had their own lives. Honey went back to being a solo artist and focusing on her writing and music. Honey partnered with No One But Us (N1BU) Entertainment in 2015 with an assistant.  Honeys debut EP titled 5 Starr was anticipated to be released in August 2017 she was known as Latoya Starr at the time. She found out about some dishonesty and went through songs being stolen from trusted partnerships. Honey realized that the industry doesn’t play fair. She quickly learned the dos and don’t if the industry and hasn’t put out any music since. Honey is currently working on her EP (self titled)…
