Artfully weaving a musical tale across Oahu's beaches, bays, rivers, ponds, mountains, trails, streets & cities inspired by profound intuition. The Hawaiian language, naturally lyrical with its 13 letters, unfolds its beauty in a melody-rich tapestry transcending genres. The seamless dance between word endings and beginnings amplifies its musicality, effortlessly rolling off the tongue in myriad ways. In well-written Hawaiian, quality takes a backseat; even a modest composition carries a unique resonance. These words can be sung to any melody, and even if it's not perfect, it still holds a certain charm.

The song predominantly embraces Oahu, around 98%, yet meanders to other shores like Papakolea on the Big Island. Started two years ago, this journey delving into words and maps revealed the undeniable and exquisite musical potency of the Hawaiian language. However, I must acknowledge an error – the mention of a place called Aweawe. I discovered, unfortunately, such a street doesn't exist yet I strongly believed it did.  I apologize if it caused any concern or confusion.  Anyways, I hope this revelation attracts the right ear, and perhaps, someone skilled in vocals might step in to help re-record. I'm a professional on the instrumental side of things, but not so much on the vocals, and I envision this piece reaching its full potential with the right voice.

Anywho, a beacon to the world, this creative pursuit revives a forgotten art, echoing the past cultural Hawaiian music-writing style, singing the Hawaiian names of places in Hawaii. I'm not the first who's done this, and I know I won't be the last. In this fusion of tradition and contemporary expression, I aim to revive a lost melody, a poignant reminder of the musical soul embedded in the Hawaiian language.
