볕을 쬐고, 커피를 마시고, 책을 읽다 지나가는 사람들을 구경하고, 남이 틀어주는 음악을 대개는 흘려보내고 가끔씩 귀기울여 듣다 나온다. 

커피 맛엔 너그럽지만 귀는 예민한 내게 좋은 카페의 기준은 적당한 소음이다.
지나치게 시끄러워 정신없지도, 너무 조용해 위축되지도 않는 적당함.

OVN의 "Almost Home Cafe"는, 고백컨대 노래보단 풍경화에, 소음에 가깝다.
카페의 여러 소음을  모은 소품집이다.

좋아하는 카페의 풍경과 냄새를 로파이 비트로 묘사해 느슨히 담아낸 10개의 트랙들.
시작하는 것 같다가 끝나고야 마는 짧은 순간의 나열들. 집중해서 듣지 않아도 되는 노래들. 어디에도 걸리지 않고 스쳐지나간다. 
어쩌면 당신의 섬세한 모서리에 끝이 걸릴지도 모른다.

커피든 주스든 차든. 좋아하는 음료 한 잔을 앞에 두고 듣기 바란다.
