For the next chapter of 3000GradSpecial, T-Puse and Mula mix up the low-speed momentum of Downbeat, the emotive flow of Deep House and the timeless magic of World Music to create a groove that fits both snuggly into the low-lit environment of an afterhour and into the dusty heat of an open air afternoon. With skillfully trimmed arrangements and peppered with hints of electronic pop, the two tracks on the Mambo EP are smooth and at the same time tangy and teasing, radiating from the ears through the heart straight into the body. And because good things come in threes, there's an additional remix from Mollono.Bass in which he deepens the rhythms of the title track and adds pastel dashes of his signature sound colours to its melody.

Sinchi Music returns with an eleventh volume of its influential Altered States series featuring artists from all over the world.

All sales from this not-for-profit release will be donated to the Sinchi Foundation to support Indigenous forest guardians in the Brazilian Amazon.

Sinchi Music has always excelled at curating talent from across the world in its eclectic and forward-thinking Altered States series. In its previous ten volumes, it has platformed exciting new artists from the musical spectrum. Number eleven carries on that fine tradition.

It opens with Itzik Kadi, who is inspired by the timeless sounds of the legendary Motown. He specialises in infusing classics with an electronic twist and opens up with the brilliant 'Jasmino'. It's a house cut with eerie melodies and a grinding bassline that makes for an intriguing atmosphere.

Next up is Bonïpso, co-founder of the Agoya collective and electronic duo Amonavis, aka Pierre Bonizec and John Hassell. Between them on 'Hide & Seek', they merge industrial, dark disco and house into an other-worldly sound.

Milan-based Irene Radice reworks electronic tradition through a modern perspective, and her tracks have received support from the likes of Sasha and BBC Radio 1. Her L' Alma' is a tripped-out disco chugger with airy melodies and a bubbling bassline that is full of colour.

Tierra de Ovnis is a musical project from Jesus Cuevas Leon which blends electronic indie sounds with the energy and culture of this homeland Mexico. On 'Stargate', that takes the form of a mind-melting mix of warped vocals and deep, punchy drums, snappy hits and otherworld disco vibes that will get the dance-floor moving.

Keep Me In The Light is a dynamic Scottish artist now based in Bangkok with a passion for the retro sounds of the 80s and 90s, Italo, disco and indie house. His 'Equestrian Space Powder' is a rich world of electro-tinged rhythms and moody chords that are lit up with a rueful lead synth which carries you into the unknown.

Last but not least, Lithuanian-born Klimas brings nostalgia to his work and mixes up Italo, new wave, and new beat, minimal techno, electro and has released on the likes of Whypeopledance. On '1 2 Cha', he layers up a fantastically flabby bassline with dubbed-out drums, cowbells, and zippy synth leads for a party-starting disco on a distant planet.

Dans ce nouveau set de mon second projet aMō, “ANZAR”, enregistré à Imsouane (Maroc) depuis les reconstructions, j’explore des paysages sonores inspirés par la figure d’Anzar, le dieu amazigh de la pluie. Ici, la pluie devient symbole de résilience et de renaissance, un écho à l’esprit indomptable d’une communauté qui se relève et renaît comme la nature après la tempête.

Ce set est une invitation à un voyage introspectif, où chaque vibration raconte la force d’âme de la communauté d’Imsouane. 🌌✨

Audiofly’s Flying Circus Recordings curate a second volume of new music for their ‘Cross
Borders’ series, with contributions from Brian Cid, Wild Dark & Ariaano, Sabo, Miyagi,
Chambord and Joell. ‘Cross Borders Volume 2’ spans across the house music spectrum, all
united in the quality production, sophisticated sound sculptures and the great grooves packed
into each of the tracks, music for late nights and early rises from the Flying Circus camp.
From the spiritually animated ‘Maka’ by Sol Selectas head honcho, Sabo, to the deep and
hypnotic atmosphere summoned on Brian Cid’s ‘We Are Dreamers’, ‘Cross Borders Vol. 2’
brings together six tracks of magical quality from some of the scene’s hottest producers. Miyagi
(Supernature/Einmusika) delivers a brooding and melodious cut ‘Sadie Adler’ whilst Wild
Dark team up with Ariaano for a deliciously driving and divine ‘Lyonesse’. French duo,
Chambord, contribute the bright and breezy ‘Pyramid & Sun’, whilst Joell wraps up this
heavyweight edition of ‘Cross Borders’, deploying heavy sub bass and intricate melodies on
‘MTV’.
