Either when holding the bar for over a decade at Soundwall - one of the reference webzines for the Italian electronic music landscape, working as artistic director for the Roman party RNY or during his two-decade long digging journey, Matteo Cavicchia's life has always been guided by music and the desire to explore and absorb as many artistic stimuli as possible.
Basically Ugly Covers was born in 2023 as an ode to the bad taste for record covers' artworks from back in the day, the surface under which some of the most underrated and funniest gems of (not only) dance music are uncovered.

Frequency Modulation's eclectic DJ sets range from soul to funk, from disco to afrojazz, and from New York's and Chicago's house to sophisticated Detroit techno music. Let's start 2020 in style with one of Australia's best selectors CC:DISCO! (@cc-disco). Her set are packed with the finest disco, house and italo cuts that always result in proper goodtimes on the dancefloor.

DJ, radio host, curator, label head and party promoter – CC:DISCO! is hopelessly lost in music and there’s no turning back. Playing disco, house and boogie cuts with her heart at the controls, CC triggers a joyous feedback loop that infects the dance floor. There’s no pretension, only pure feeling.

First is one of our absolute favourite DJs, Motor City Drum Ensemble. He sets the mood with a 3-hour set filled with soulful house and disco cuts.
