A family project, but what a special one!
Laura and I started this ongoing project in 2020. We are recording Christmas songs that have both German and Latvian lyrics, as they equally are part of her Latvian and my German Heritage. To make it even more fun, we included some features of our little son (Track 8 with him being two in 2020, track 4 with him being three years old. Also featured is my brother on drums (tracks 2,3,5). 
FYI: Most instruments are real and were played and recorded subsequently by me.

Chilling vibes of a tuba ensemble (+bass/drums) flowing with some Low-Fi beats

RELXED (Tuba ensemble groove)

Low-Fi electronic track that I played with synthesizers - and a low brass combo of three tubas and bass trombone. 
It also provides possibly the only occasion to hear me playing an improvised solo melody on keys ever!

I recorded some ophicleide duets from Cornette's Method book. I used a Nakagawa/Syhre replica of an 1850's Ophicleide á Rotation. Just guessing the tempi, but not going too fast as these pieces are meant for beginners.

Christmas Songs - arr. Ludwig Angerhöfer

I wrote this arrangement of the New Orleans Classic originally for 3 trombones and tuba. 
For writing this arrangement, I adapted the work of two other arrangers like the famous Don Gillis (Canadian Brass) and Richard Roblee for four low Instruments and also added some own stuff (like the Sousaphone solo). 
Performed on Bach Marching Baritone, Meinl F-Tuba and Conn Sousaphone, recorded with Sennheiser MD421.

A movement from Georg Philipp Telemann's Canonic Sonatas. They sound good on Tuba, too, and are fun to play!

Telemann Canon Sonata (Tuba Duet)

Tuba player and instrument collector. For these records I play various tubas, valved ophicleide, bass trumpet, euphonium, alto horn, trombone and whatever I find at my place. This is going to be my playground, hope you can enjoy some of the music!
