Transmission for Palestine is an initiative in solidarity with the decades-long Palestinian struggle coordinated by Ankali and Radio Laude. On Sunday and Monday we will stream music from all the corners of the world to gather funds that will be distributed between the Palestine Child Relief Fund and the Urgent Humanitarian Aid to Gaza campaign, whose work is to provide medical care to those that have been the most vulnerable to the violence. We do this in the wake of a 10-day long violence period which ended in a ceasefire earlier today and left behind death and destruction from which the affected community will take long to heal.

In the face of an asymmetrical conflict, we are supporting those overpowered and weak in the face of blatant injustice. The threat to the wellbeing of the Israeli population, while real, cannot be compared to the existential risk or stress undergone by the Palestinian people and it is visible in the disproportionate number of deaths, injuries, material destruction and trauma present on both sides. We want to raise our voice for those who can’t.

His recent debut album Field Theory under his moniker Lotus Wash has shown that his scope of sound is far-reaching and non-exhaustive with a proper pandemic atmosphere.

A member of the @Bastl Instruments’ team, John’s holistic approach to electronic music has seen him play furiously-paced, yet forever uplifting and unique, takes on electro and other forms of dance music, always filled with an optimism that fuels a fire in the audience. His recent tape alongside Tomáš Niesner saw each artist push the other in new directions, and shows a vivid creativity.

In her compositions, JacqNoise is looking for the spot where rhythms cross each other’s paths. She is deconstructing sounds in order to understand the symphony and the themes that are reflected in it.

During live performances JacqNoise synchronizes with her surroundings. She finds her main source of inspiration in cultural cross-pollination. In the past years, JacqNoise has collaborated with musicians from all over the world. This is leading her curiosity to experiment and adapt new methodologies.

Lately, Jacq pioneered with hardware interfaces that support algorithms and are based on chaos in order to develop noises and specify sounds.

While Jacq normally focused on mostly live performances, it starts to look like she also enjoys the online agenda and radio shows as much these days. She played at festivals such as Post-Loop Bangkok, Garage hosted by Erica Synth Riga and MEFF Italy. What had a strong stimulating impact was her development was the performance at Da theaterhouse based in Iran and playing in Berlin based club such as Klunkerkranich regularly in Club Mase.
