Bassinfected is a contemporary electronic music producer from Germany, who switched to the hard edged electronic sounds after a times as a vocalist in a few grindcore and death metal bands. After a few years and the band parting ways, he immersed him self into producing and playing hard. The influence of his metal roots is still mirrored in his tracks.

A. I would describe myself as a sad clown half the time and a child with my pants rolled up the other half.

Q . How long have you been a part of the NY music scene?
A. I’ve lived and made work in NYC now for a little over 8 years. 

Q . Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. This mix is a collection of stuff I enjoy throwing on and zoning out to; A lot of friends' music and stuff from around the world. Tried to focus on the mix as a meditative exercise with a resolution, climax and resignation kind of theme (a lot of time on my hands). A lot of the work showcased stretches time for me in a psychedelic way.
