"Don't Tell Me" is within the genre of Tech House with my signature melodic texture sprinkled about. It's more upbeat and energetic with the help of stalky drums, a thick bassline, and vocal chops. After dancing and grooving through the drop, it takes you on an unexpected melodic turn of events that leaves you floating in pads and atmospheric swells. The track then comes full circle when introducing a break element with the drop that pushes it forward just a little bit more.

We've always had a love for Lo-fi and producing it was something we were curious and interested about for a short period of time. During this mindset, we decided to try it out and see what we could come up with. We then browsed a few interesting samples from splice to get us started and then built the entire track around them. A few experiments later, we came up with "Are You Ok?", which did NOT turn out the way we anticipated; instead, it slowly developed into a Lo-fi influenced melodic future bass tune. It was our very first experimental track and we ended up liking how the overall theme and style sounded, so we thought why not give it out for free? It was a lot of fun to make and we hope you enjoy!

This one had quite a long shelf life but it finally reached its true form in the early months of 2020. Originally, Raburn was intrigued by the tech house style that encompassed tracks from the popular record label, Toolroom. This is where Voodoo started out... at least in the beginning stages. We both experimented with other ideas which ultimately led to some funny meme-like moments with the use of a Will Farrell Splice sample. After some thought though, we decided to remove it and start making something of it. Because of Raburn's trance and progressive background, the track slowly started to develop into a trance-infused house head-bobber filled with tribal-esque sounds that really resonated with us. With tons of different variations and styles tweaked over several months on and off, our baby, Voodoo was finalized. Only took about a year to do so... We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it. It definitely took many forms!

For the creation of this track, we decided to lurk the vaults of Splice for some vocal samples. We ended up stumbling on the sample for "We're All Bad", which immediately grabbed our attention. It just had a classic sexy vocal feel that would go great with some deeper elements. After about a full day of production, the track basically started to make itself. A lot of the elements glued together quite nicely, especially sounds from our very own Minilogue hardware synth we got last summer! Overall, we wanted the track to be rather simple and effective so the vocals had a nice place to sit in the mix. The track blends genre's from the likes of house, deep, and future and we were pleased with how it came out. We hope you enjoy the sounds of "We're All Bad".
