[ Kris plunges the knife into their chest. It comes out of their back. ]

Jackal: KRIS!

[ Jackal falls to his knees. Tony crouches and silently reaches an arm around him, leaning against his back. Ames steps towards Kris, as a large cloud of darkness quickly emerges from their wounds. ]

Ames: I don't think they're here anymore...

???: IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA HELP.
???: MAYBE I CAN DO IT WITH SPITE POWERS WHILE YOU'RE NOT LOOKING.

[ The Desperation makes them play. ]
