London's longest-running re-edit imprint returns to action, with lael co-founders Dave Jarvis and Diesel at the controls. The Moton Inc series launched back in 1996, and alongside edit imprints from the Idjut Boys, Harvey and significant others, this label has been instrumental in shaping the leftfield Disco & Balearic re-edit scene. Still going strong after 45 releases, dropping dope new edits of essential gems and oddities with these veteran scenesters offering up essential tweaks here and there. Moton Records Inc consistently delivering late night boogie-down antics and high-quality goods just the way that god intended.

Predictably, there's more brilliance to be found throughout the label's latest four track missive, the work of Canadian duo The Patchouli Brothers. Best friends from a small town in Canada, they found themselves bonded by their affinity for the stranger side of House, Disco, Soul & otherworldly sounds. Before the world stopped spinning, they held down a residencies at Beam Me Up,  weekly in Toronto and a monthly in Montreal, and have released on respected labels Soundway, GAMM, Star Creature, Pleasure of Love, Basic Fingers and Defected

This four-cut disco demon will have you turning up the dial to eleven and dancing around your kitchen in something fabulous until Horse Meat Disco opens again in June. Bravo Moton. You’ve only gone and done it again.

Going the extra mile following his latest LP ‘Shaping Visons’, Soulfuric Deep now delivers a fresh sonic aesthetic with a brand-new remix package for Miguel Migs ‘Promises’ featuring Lisa Shaw. Migs is back with the collective Girls of the Internet in tow and Andrea Bertolini’s solo project Antenna!. While Girls Of The Internet deliver pop-tinged house grooves with strong disco and soul influences, Andrea Bertolini proudly displays his synth-addicted disposition and his sound craftmanship. Arranged with deep house royalty Lisa Shaw’s soulful vocal, all that was left was for Miguel to linger in his ‘moody creative space’…and it’s a match made in heaven.
