Weavers

This is what I consider my first 'rehab' song. I wanted to record something as a milestone that would reflect how far I have come during the pandemic. I have felt for a long time that my voice was beyond saving. Over a decade of pain and fatigue has left my voice as being fairly damaged and useless. 

I have been sick with Lyme Disease and it totally trashed my voice and my entire body. I thought I was going to die and I thought I would never sing again. I have a mountain of gratitude to be able to just enjoy sitting in my studio and have fun playing with this track in Garage Band. I have done it in two hours and I have produced it on my own hence the fairly crappy production. Huge apologies for that!

This track is far from perfect. I still have pitching issues but my muscle memory is getting better and my diaphragm is slowly getting under control.

This is dedicated to all those incredible human beings who manage to drag themselves out of bed every day and survive the incredible pain they live with. I never thought I would make it but I'm still here and I'm still fighting. This is for all those with invisible pain, we're in this together...I love you all and I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the Lyme community and their wealth of knowledge. Just keep sharing information and saving lives...
