This is an Electro Swing Remix of the "Crazy Science Owls" theme i wrote for A Hat In Time. Since the song was a bit of a fan favourite in the beta I thought it would be fun to present you this new Electro Swing version. A Hat In Time's soundtrack covers a wide range of genres and the original version of the song played during Chapter 3, Act 1: Trainwreck of Science and had a 1930's inspired Big Band sound.

Went through a lot of variations trying to find something for her, the first take way too toothless and the team said would've worked better for like say Pom so that take went scrapped entirely (was trying to go for something similar to the Moonstruck Blossom from Kirby but I ended up missing the mood and went a little too light hearted adventure-y). The second take on the other hand I had a sudden interest in black metal production and ended up far TOO demonic, so that one got scrapped too. This sort of was the last one trying to marry the two after looking into inspirations from the Castlevania Rondo of Blood soundtrack (whoops there's where the acid came from) and I think we found something that fits a lot more cleanly, trying to come up with something that feels more of an inbetween of Bayonetta's fashion flair and Castlevania's campy horror rock (ngl Bloody Tears is probably one of my favorite video game tracks ever).

The second remix of NoteBloctober! I know I'm a week late, but college has proven to make my life much more difficult than anticipated! I'll continue to do my very best to keep these remixes coming in this busy month! Unrelated- Luigi's Mansion 2 is pretty darn dope. A lot of people didn't like the mission system and separate mansions, but I thought it offered a lot more variety (ghosts not included) and some fun boss fights! HERE'S A REMIX! Hope you guys enjoy!
