Now based in Charlotte, I started singing at the age of five and developed a love for writing later in my teens, which could be where the singer/songwriter dream came from. 
I can’t explain, but the feeling of someone relating to your lyrics is the best feeling in the world. While creating my first project Mood Swings, I found my sound and now consider myself to be a pop/country artist, with a variety of electronic/pop/country type beats. I developed my love for pop music from Britney Spears and a love for country when I first heard Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. Recording my first EP and music video came with some hiccups, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Having inspiring, motivating people to help along the way is a blessing too, which you should never take lightly and I thank God everyday I found my true home, music.

Laura found herself in a dark room a couple days after an unexpected breakup, writing about the could've beens. Laura knew in that moment, she wasn't sad about who left her, but about what could've been if the relationship would have worked out.

It's true when they say love will come unexpectedly and knock you off your feet. At least that's what Laura felt when she fell for her significant other. First, the attraction came from having similar interests, to her falling deeply for his sincere heart and flattering sense of style, aka his impressive collection of trucker hats.

Laura wanted to tell a story about a kissing bandit, or in today's world, a fierce, flirty, independent woman ready to leave her mark on others with her charm and of course, red lipstick. But, more importantly the singer/songwriter wants to leave her mark in the country music industry and with this song, she is doing just that with her fun, upbeat country/rock single.

As the title of Laura's EP, "Bite The Bullet" was written to let those who have been heartbroken know, the road does everything but end here. With her empowering lyrics, Laura knew this was the song to start her project because it showcases courage, bravery and Laura's favorite... strength!

Homesick is a story about feeling lost, when all of a sudden you hear someone or something calling you. Do you stay comfortable or chase your dreams? For Laura, she can't run fast enough.

“Muddin’” is a spirited country-rock anthem that embraces the freedom and thrill of getting down and dirty. With its catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, Laura transports her listeners to the exhilarating world of off road adventures.
From the beginning, the lyrics delve into the details of this one of a kind date that only a Southerner would understand.
While writing, Laura wanted you to feel the excitement of driving down a backroad, leaving worries and the city lights behind.
Laura hopes to encourage her listeners to break free from the ordinary and embrace spontaneity, because after all.. a little mud never hurt anyone.

“Daisy Dukes” is a heartfelt and empowering song that tells the story of a woman who longs for a partner who treats her with the same care and adoration as her favorite pair of high rise, cut offs. While writing, Laura wanted to paint a picture of a strong, confident woman who knows her worth and wanting a love that lets her shine and feel confident, just like her Daisy Dukes do. Laura’s newest single serves as a reminder to celebrate our uniqueness and if you find someone who doesn’t lift you up, at least your go-to blues will be there to support!

"Trouble" is an emotionally charged and thought-provoking song that dives into the painful themes of cheating and lying within a relationship. The verses of "Trouble" paint a vivid picture of the trust that was once unbreakable, now shattered. While writing, Laura wanted to express the difficult decision that follow a heartbreak, which is acceptance or revenge. In this case, we put up with too much for too long and it's time to hit 'em where it hurts. With a mix of anger, sadness and confusion, we have "Trouble."
