I promised myself I would create some platforms for my musical endeavors in 2024 so here goes. 
In this series I would like to invite you in my personal universe of techno, away from trends and expectations. 
Things might get deep, hard, fast, slow or dubby and hopefully you will join me on this ride.

Explorations of Deep vol. 1

For the latest episode of my podcast series 'Explorations of Deep', 
I decided to slow things down a bit and lay down a full dubtechno set. 

If you've been following my work for a while, you know that dub and dubtechno have always been a key part of my DJ sets, whether I'm playing house, minimal, techno, or anything in between. 
However, I’ve never recorded a full mix in this style—until now.

The mix blends some classic tracks with a few newer ones, including one of my own, which will be released in the near future.

Long-time contributor to the bustling Antwerp music scene as the co-organiser of Feiern and as part of the Sunday Matinee collective (known to all for kick-starting a vibrant open air scene in the city), Laurens is a name that will definitely ring a bell for any Belgium nightlife regular.

Responsible for bringing names such as Move D, Mike Huckaby and Jus-Ed to Antwerp and with a carefully curated sound of his own, Laurens’ reputation quickly started to reach beyond his hometown. Turning heads with his characteristically deep and strongly dancefloor-oriented sets, he’s had the chance to share the decks with some of the scene’s most iconic names such as Ricardo Villalobos and Laurent Garnier and became a resident for Ampere in 2015.

Now having played at some of Belgium’s most forward-thinking clubs & parties and with a couple international gigs under his belt, Laurens’ career as a DJ and organiser is showing no signs of slowing down.
