Here's something special. This music piece is something that I put together for a special occasion. Last month I was invited by a friend of mine who has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga for many years, to perform LIVE for her yoga retreat in the Dolomites, Sud Tyrol, Italy. It was truly an unforgettable experience performing amongst the towering, majestic mountains and crystalline lake. There were 40 participants and it felt utterly surreal performing live percussion (djembe and darbouka) to this music, which I assembled solely for this occasion. Witnessing the participants do yoga whilst I was performing was so inspiring. I have played percussion since 1994 but I've never done anything like this. I will never forget this experience and the beautiful heartfelt comments from the participants afterwards. So grateful to have been part of this.
