Tha_Guts is a musician and multi-instrumentalist brazilian producer and label manager at dsrptv rec. His interest for the sound narratives as a means of finding stories in the mixture and the clash between layers, gave rise to his first records. Musically, his sonority has as main characteristics the collages, samplers and loops of organic and electronic beats, focusing mainly on the creation of abstract narratives based on different sound perspectives. ABOUT THE ARTIST>

Moritz Dycke ist neben der Musik hauptsächlich als freischaffender Künstler, Designer und Schamane tätig und sein Werk ist ein ständiger Prozess. Kunst jeglicher Art ist dabei ein spiritueller Prozess und wird, wie etwa in der Kunsttherapie, mit in die spirituelle Heilarbeit eingewoben. Es ist wie ein Tagebuch, das durch die offene Verarbeitung innerster Gefühlszustände wirkt und den Wandel zwischen Realitäten in fantastischen audiovisuellen Bildern beschreibt.

Ich fühle mich schon immer sehr stark verbunden zu einer Art tieferem Bewusstsein. Ein Bewusstsein, ein Sein, eine Welt, die im Schatten der allgemein geltenden Realität existiert und diese "Unterwelten" erforscht. Das was dort für andere verborgen liegt, ist für mich offensichtlich. Das was für andere im Dunkel liegt, sehe ich im Hellen. Das zu bewerten, liegt nicht in meiner Natur. Als natürlich empfinde ich aber den Prozess des Sichtbarmachens. Daher ist meine Musik eine Reise durch dunkle Täler des Unterbewussten und über weite Berglandschaften des Bewussten. Die hypnotisch- experimentierende Mischung aus Downtempo und treibendem Techno verbindet besonders in dieser Zeit verschiedene Stile zu einem Neuen, mehr eine Erfahrung und Geschichte als ‚normale‘ Musik.
