Brasilian Arthur Maccari debuts on Solid Tracks with a 4-track e.p., The Looming Crisis, featuring 3 original tracks and a remix from Berlin-based ogtrues.

Starting off with Inspection Chamber, Maccari's sound is centered around driving rhythms and rolling basslines with edgy synth stabs layered on top, setting the tone for the rest of the e.p. Next up, ogtrues ups the tempo and delivers a deeper and minimal rendition of Inspection Chamber. Moving to the title track, The Looming Crisis, which uses a captivating vocal hook over funkier tones, making it perfect dancefloor material. Ending with This is Not a Rehearsal, a track co-produced with Melbourne's Lumertz, both artists delve into a darker, hypnotic groove that will get heads turning.

Drama BCN is an underground techno label from the streets of Barcelona, releasing cool and groovy analogue, machine-driven cuts by the likes of Volpe (ARG) and Drucal and the new EP welcomes local hero Rocco.fx along with remixes by Alberto Tolo and Feo Paraíso.

Feo Paraíso are a talented Spanish duo who are familiar faces to Drama BCN, with a few appeareances on the label already by way of original music and remixes, as well releasing on Smashead and U-traxx.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the Feo Paraíso remix of "SP 1200" with a slammin' and jackin' rhythm at its essence. A stunning, raw groove is a certain dance floor worker, with added hypnotic atmospherics and some tasteful, deep chords for extra emotion locked inside.
