A werecat is a lycanthropic creature of folklore, horror, and occultism, described as being a shapeshifter who are similar to werewolves, except that they turn into creatures that are based on some species of feline instead of being based on a wolf. The species involved can be a domestic cat, a tiger, a lion, a leopard, a lynx, or any other type, including some that are purely fantastical felines.

Laurent Colson is a French composer, producer, and remixer known for his intricately programmed synthesized vocals and immersive electronic soundscapes. Blending Witch House, Synthwave, Darkwave, Chillwave, and Downtempo, his music weaves hypnotic rhythms, atmospheric textures, and deep emotional storytelling, creating a unique sonic universe that feels both futuristic and nostalgic.

Laurent began his musical journey in the 1990s under the name Lost Memories, releasing his debut album "The Edge of Eternity" in 1999 on an independent Belgian label. This album established his signature style, merging electro and pop influences with a strong emphasis on atmosphere. During this time, he also worked on several remixes for other artists, refining his sound and production techniques.

Over the years, Laurent’s music has evolved into a deeply evocative form of electronic expression. Each of his compositions unfolds like a self-contained world, where storytelling and emotion take center stage. A defining characteristic of his work is his mastery of vocal synthesis, crafting entirely digital voices that add an ethereal and otherworldly dimension to his music.

He has remixed "Tricky Tricky" and "Oh, Lover" by Röyksopp, "Mercy" by Alice Offley, "Nude" by Radiohead, "Amazonia" by Deep Forest, and "My Emily" by Anneli Drecker (Bel Canto, Röyksopp), among others.

In recent years, Laurent’s productions have taken on an even more immersive and introspective approach, combining haunting melodies, intricate arrangements, and cutting-edge production techniques.
