MIX WAVE”

This was first recorded in 1969 and released in 1970 on the album titled, 'Thousand Finger Man' (released on Sold State Records; later reissued on Blue Note in 1999). The next time this song showed up was on the 1979 Candido album, 'Dancin' & Prancin''. 

This particular version appeared on the 2005 Candido double-CD compilation called 'The Anthology'. It's longer than the two previously mentioned cuts at twelve and a half minutes long - more time to lose yourself in the sweet music!

Often overlooked this was a great example of Paul Weller's writing diversity delivering a killer boogie groover with the amazing vocals of Dee C. Lee contrasting his own.
