This Afro Tech track is a sonic journey between two worlds ,born from the rhythms of my homeland and shaped by the underground pulse of where I now live. Rooted in traditional African grooves and percussion, the track carries the soul of our culture: hypnotic, spiritual, and deeply tribal.

Layered into that is the cold, mechanical energy of Germany’s electronic scene — a blend of raw techno and dark electro elements that reflect the sound of Berlin’s nightclubs and industrial roots. The fusion creates something both ancient and futuristic , a place where ancestral drums meet modular synths.
No vocals. No distractions. Just the pure energy of two cultures colliding on the dancefloor.

UK based producer Strinner does not disappoint with his debut solo release on Steyoyoke Recordings. The Deviation EP offers three original ethereal techno compositions, all different yet equally matched in quality.

The title track “Deviation” gets you moving from the start, yet slowly builds with morphing rhythms and darkly progressing synthesizers. Its spotless production makes it enjoyable to listen through headphones or played out with the bass turned on high. “Cessation” bounces and shakes, with steadily pulsing tones and beautiful melodies weaved in throughout. “Overture” layers blipping synths with heavier beats but then recedes, and comes back in full force. This driving repeated pattern creates a memorable piece of techno.

All tracks on the Deviation EP will undoubtedly make listeners want to dance, yet they do more to intrigue the ear with their fluctuating beats and musical elements. An exciting first release for Strinner in the Steyoyoke family.

The first track on this EP could be called a pure Atmosphere Records release. Mesmerizing synth lines with a high energy level and an atmospheric break evolving into a strong drop, this is 'Celestial'. 

On this EP's B-side you can find 'Ayan' a track that could be a banger on his own.
This track is what progressive is all about, a never ending arpeggiated synth forming a robust foundation, topped off with a rhythmic percussion.

To finish off this EP we got another Atmosphere Records family member remixing Celestial.
Radeckt applied his signature sound on Celestial and this results in a true club banger!'
