The Expectation is the new band of Raffael Brina from Biel (CH). The former singer and mastermind of the band Carnation, a successful swiss indie band in the late 2000s, released his new album 'Back From Where We Came' in spring 2014. 
'The Black Eyes And The Blood', The Expectation's second single, is a cheerful but nevertheless contemplative song with an attitude.

A handwritten letter from a guitarist gives the necessary metaphorical kick in the derrière and the much needed encouragement to present her music in a universe far beyond colorful striped shower curtains and sound-proof air raid shelters. First gig occurs in the summer of 2012, followed by dozens of live shows on stages across Switzerland – including a little detour to US debut at the Utica Music and Arts Fest in upstate New York. In 2013, „this is not a demo – this is an EP“ marks the first release of Spanish singer-songwriter Miriam Crespo.
"Thierry's Song" is the first track from the upcoming full length debut album „in the bones all along“ which will be released in spring 2015. When a close friend’s husband ends his life over the Christmas holidays, „Thierry’s Song“ pours out and writes itself within half an hour. What sounds like a hackneyed cliché on paper leaves real pain, guilt, anger and many unanswered questions in the lives of the ones affected. Miriam Crespo: „Even today, suicide and mental illness are often tabooed and conveniently swept under the rug. With this song, I just want to bring a little light and hope into the darkness. A song can hardly presume to offer more.“
