This song is an unfolding odyssey of a solitary thought, a contemplative meditation on the elemental trinity of lightning, thunder, and rain. It is a journey into the primal rhythm of life and the universe, a pulsating echo that reverberates through the fabric of existence.

The melody begins on a distant piano, a spectral harmony resonating in the backdrop, a surreal serenade in the twilight. Time-reversed pianos, artifacts of a bygone or perhaps a future era, emerge from the shadows, their notes dancing in a timeless ballet.

Wave-like pads of digital and analog warmth soothe in, energizing the biochemical circuits, sparking the neural net activity. Like a cosmic conductor, they ignite a symphony of synapses, firing in and out of time in harmonious discord. This melodic metamorphosis unfolds in the key of the song.

As the temperature rises, the ever-evolving arpeggio morphs through its spectral, crystal, liquid, and plasmoid-like phases. It is a symphony of rain, a celestial shower that transcends the earthly realm. It is the rain of stars as we journey through our galaxy, a cosmic downpour of dark matter and stellar brilliance.

The song meditation, which began with the three elements of water, sound, and electricity, is a subtle representation of mental activity. It is a musical manifestation of the journey of thought and change. It reflects the synchronicity of human and machine thought as it evolves from chaos and compute, whether in a machine, virtual, or imaginary space.

When a clear pattern emerges and evolves, it becomes music, a testament to our network learning and adapting. We start seeing the solution, the patterns that echo through the noise. It is the harmony that emerges from the chaos, the order that arises from the disorder.

In the end, all the elements of the song start fading away one by one into the silence, their echoes dissolving into the electromagnetic ether. The noise subsides; and you come back a full circle with the complex melody and foundational root baseline, the heartbeat and key structure of the entire song. The meditation begins and ends with silence, as the knowledge embeds within us, even when the thought disappears.

A dream-like rendition of Say Something, My first music production project using Ableton Live 10. It's sung by my lovely sister in her angelic voice. Chopping her vocals, I experiment with electronic rock and trance themes. And no samples were used, all the instruments were played and arranged by me (^_^)

Say Something (LavishCosmos Cover)

It was a dark night, and I was studying the classical raag of "Malhar", known to induce rainfall. I had this tune in my mind, resonating perpetually. So I started playing it on the piano, going up and down the scales, creating arpeggios and a dope bassline. I had produced the beat, and arranged the song. That's when I was struck by the revelation.

After 9 bars, I heard the loudest thunder of my life, and it started pouring heavens. Goosebumps travelled from the base of my spine to the astral crown above my head. I checked the weather forecast and it wasn't supposed to rain for another 2 hours. Seemed like the cloud above my region had burst open. It was a divine experience, which I wish to share with you all, and see for yourself. 

A melody from the cosmos. It felt like the universe was talking to me. Mother nature responds to it.

Music is something that has always been close to my heart. I studied electronics in Edinburgh, Scotland and completed my undergrad in computer science and entrepreneurship from London, UK.  I recently completed my MBA from University of Adelaide and will continue to work on technology of sound in Australia!
