Set to release this October 13th via La Belle Records. Azaria & Andrea Lacoste join forces for "Hexagrama". This collaboration see's one of the most intriguing producers from the low BPM electronic scene (who we previously welcomed a year ago for our VA "One Night Stands 3") work alongside one of the most eclectic singer / producers around.

Azaria & Andrea Lacoste continue on a journey of musical experimentation. The sound of this new record might surprise fans who are familiar with Azarias earlier release "Bugs". This collaboration with the Venezuelan multi-instrumentalist artist exemplifies the organic synergy both artists display.

The EP delves into the ritualistic elements found in African and Oriental sonorities, as well as music with psychedelic influences. It features a blend of Latin beats, Amazonian rhythms, drums, and other ethnic resonances, all of which create a tribal and immersive atmosphere that invites the listener into their world. Layered over these percussions are melodious tunes, ethereal voices, and continuous chants that augment the hypnotic musical backdrops, reminiscent of mantras. The result is a sound framework that ebbs and flows with dreamy, serene, and experimental touch. It's a fusion of the electronic and the organic, distinguished by a unique touch that sets it apart in an era flooded with music.

This record's aim of folk-ancestral revival is consistently evident. The EP opens with "Soleil," characterized by its laid-back rhythm and sensuous vocal work. Followed by "Jayeechi Wayúu," which combines a straightforward House beat with intricate percussion and layered influences. "A New Jam" immerses us further, with melodic drum work, with spoken word serving as a counterpoint to the bustling rhythm in the background. "Bright Mood" propels us deeper into the tribal concepts whilst the title track "Hexagrama" pulls you in with its darker layers over a 4-to-the-floor beat.

Ludviq is the project of Luis Fernando, born in Guadalajara, MX, now based in Barcelona, Catalunya.
Dj, Sound Designer & Producer of Electronic Music since 2016, with influences like Psychedelic, Italo, Post Punk, Indie, Breaks, Disco and EBM.
Founder of the Mexican electronic label @bonkersmsc since 2018

Directly involved with social and environmental causes in Brazil, Murillo Faleiros is an educator and biologist. Known as mandruvá (@mandruvamusic), the producer and DJ carries in his expression a universal background of diverse musical styles. The artist has worked for major national and international labels, such as Casa Caos, Tropical Twista, AKASHA MX, trndmsk, Cafe de Anatolian, MONADA, Lump, Shango, Baikal Nomads, Kosa, among others. His storytelling aired on different radio stations and labels around the world, such as radiOzora, voodoohop, Deep House Moscow, Mousike and more.

Little is known about this freaky duo whose sound straddles opposing polarities, merging organics and synthetics, joining traditional textures with futuristic finish. Tho, we premiered already a track by them on Bordello A Parigi and a remix of them was a massive LYO secret weapon those last months. Those tracks for Multi Culti are sample-licious tracks that also feature original vocals and raw analog synths. They are noisy but clean, rough but smooth, soft and crunchy.  
On one hand, it's mad-cap multicultural disco funk as on Si Jambo (translated loosely as 'ALL GOOD') and 2Tac Onana, and on the other it's cybernetic weirdness and italo-inflected electro with 'Non-Binary Joys on the Venus Holodeck' and 'Czary Mary premiered here,' which sounds like it could be the flip-side to Sharivari.  In between this binary divide is 'Something For the Mind,' a brilliant piece of pop music that springs lightly into your brain with catchy bleeps, incredible vocoder, and a beat guaranteed to get the braindance party started.
