International Chrome co-founder Jensen Interceptor proudly presents Jensen & Friends, a freshly-squeezed compilation celebrating the fruits of creative collaboration.

Co-crafted alongside a dynamic roster of artists from around the globe, the LP serves as a vibrant tribute to those who have journeyed alongside Jensen and left an indelible mark on his ever-evolving artistic outlook.

"This album is a celebration of the beautiful relationships formed through music,” says Jensen Interceptor. “It’s a culmination of the last few years spent travelling the world and connecting with like-minded artists, and a way of honouring that incredible privilege.”

The 12-track compilation traverses the expansive sonic terrain that Jensen Interceptor has ventured into in recent years, presenting dynamic collaborations with 12 musicians who have enriched his own artistry. Fusing baile funk, footwork, techno, and deconstructed club, the LP presents an energetic assemblage of club-ready bangers guaranteed to galvanise.

A heartfelt homage to those Interceptor is both inspired by and indebted to, Jensen & Friends is an invigorating adventure across continents via the rich rolodex of artists on its tracklist— including Turkish-born Nene H, Venezula's Dagga, Brazilian artist Kenya20hz, and Philly-based estoc. Moreover, it’s a testament to the transcendent power of music.

The album marks the 21st release on International Chrome and to celebrate, Jensen & Friends’ release party takes place at International Chrome’s fourth party at Tresor, which will feature friends and collaborators of the label: IAMX, Lawrence Lee, Dagga, Kenya20hz and Luwei.

‘The Immaterium is a strange and terrible place. You might as well throw a traveller into a sea of sharks and tell him to swim home send him through The Warp unprotected.’

With “Warp Sharks”, UK producers Eyeza and Diessa join forces for a blood-curdling 4-tracker. Inspired by Warhammer 40K characters and lore, this boundary pushing EP combines dark themes of the 40K world with heavy club-focused weaponry.

“The Warp” is an alternate dimension of chaos and psychic energy underlying the material universe. It is simultaneously understood to be a medium by which faster-than-light interstellar travel is possible. “Warp Sharks” could be said to evoke these elements; high-bpm drum breaks throughout the record emulate a sense of frenetic speed while manic synth progressions and energy blasts build towards a sense of peril. Within each composition, multiple rave-friendly genres are saturated under a blanket of distortion and impact. The record opens with “Karandras,” where eerie vocals, arpeggios and heavy drums flow in and out of each other, with intermittent waves of static and sci-fi warble. “Penitent Engine” begins the next phase: gritty wobbles and drum breaks combine under washes of dramatic ambience before teasing in and out of a heavy techno beat. The track morphs into something more vicious two-and-a-half minutes in, where stuttering breaks come to the fore, supported by kicks and 808s that swarm rapidly in elaborate club rhythms. The title track follows with intricate breaks steadily firing over heavy bass lines. “Nuns with Guns” concludes the record, where gabber kicks snap through dub inspired vocal chops and fluttering snares.

The record’s relentless energy evolves with every track, each composition seamlessly blending genres of underground electronic music. “Warp Sharks”, like many Infinite Machine releases, is unapologetically experimental, while remaining accessible to dance floors.

Brick Sweat Records, recognised for its dedication to showcasing a wide array of electronic genres, is pleased to announce the launch of their latest project, "Footwork Files". Following the success of S.U.R.E.'s "Summer of 89" album, this release marks the label's first various artists project of the year. Collaborating with both established Chicago footwork legends such as DJ Manny & EQ Why, as well as emerging underground producers from Munich to Albuquerque, Brick Sweat Records has curated a Chicago inspired tracklist for their Manchester-based label.
