My contribution to multi-genre party starts and label Hyperdome Records, with their second instalment of the Welcome to the Hyperdome V/A series.

Exploring booty, electro, juke / footwork, breaks, jungle and hardcore - this release sees 26 tracks from 28 different artists across the globe coming together to generate pure dancefloor weaponry.

Releasing via Hyperdome's bandcamp and streaming platforms on September 12th.

Footwork

Hedo Hydr8 delivers their uncompromising sophomore EP on Affected. Sometimes It's Hard is packed with modern, hardcore rave aesthetics and revisited oldschool sound design. 
Hedo Hydr8 themselves describe the EP as ‘body music to release your pent up energy’. They add: “We wanted to make club music that liberates itself from hierarchies and conventions in order to liberate the body — freeing its pent-up emotions.”
Hedo Hydr8’s sonics draw on a multitude of genres inside and outside of the rave environment, encompassing punishing beats, mind-altering sounds and beautiful moments of intense tranquillity.

Bringing in another firm injection of the harder, darker vibes into our DECENNIUM series, we bring you an exclusive, rare b2b between our good friends and fellow FOLD comrades; James Newmarch and Natural Selection resident Liam Noonan aka SWARMM.

Well-known faces in the London scene, a close friendship between James and Liam was forged out of their heavy involvement with FOLD, since it’s inception; James being FOLD’s chief Technical Manager and also resident DJ. Liam working very closely with FOLD as their visual mastermind, whilst gracing the DJ booth with his DJ sets and live sets on numerous occasions, including via our own nights and events there.

With a background in sound engineering, James' grasp of sound mechanics is evident in his meticulous, yet effortless style of DJing. His sets have become notorious in London, both through FOLD, but also through plentiful sets via other reputable crews such as HTBX, Jaded, THEM and more. James has not just been confined to London in recent years and his reputation has spread overseas and across Europe. Although many would associate James with Techno, his style is hugely diverse, delving into Electro, Ghetto, Breaks, DnB, etc. as and when he pleases.

An overall legend and one of the soundest guys in the scene, we are blessed to have worked so closely with James since we made our home at FOLD in 2019 and we are proud to have James feature on our series.

Liam is a huge part of the Natural Selection family. He cemented his Natural residency with his debut set in 2020 at FOLD, where he formed a key part of our lineup which included heavyweight artists such as Speedy J, Delta Funktionen, Aeons at Play (Radial & Operator), VC-118A and fellow Natural Selection residents Kodah and Annie Hall. He also featured at one of our FOLD live streams last year, alongside Ansome, Sigha and other front-line NS residents; Voicedrone and Second Storey. Liam has also recently launched his cutting edge label Laminar Flow, in which he has self-released some of the most advanced Electronics we have had the pleasure of hearing. SWARMM tracks have gained support from the likes of legends such as Blawan and there are plenty of up and coming releases expected soon.

For James’ and Liam's exclusive DECENNIUM set, their high-energy styles compliment each other and produce a unique, signature sound that is impossible not to move to. We knew they would form a lethal duo and create a powerful and cathartic set that is truly in the spirit of Natural Selection and FOLD.
