Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Jean Caillou back to the label for a new EP. First emerging in 2016 from Switzerland's avant-garde electronic landscape, Jean Caillou quickly established himself with releases via Magician On Duty, RYNTH and Underyourskin Records, where his thoughtful take on deep house flourished. Moving forward, 2019 saw the Zurich resident make his Sound Avenue debut with a well-received remix of Joe Miller's 'The Days'. Deep and enchanting in equal measure, its organic vibe immediately won over DJs and fans alike, sparking what has been a fruitful relationship between the Belgian imprint and Swiss artist. Now, nearly five years on from his label debut and Jean has recorded three artist EPs and two additional remixes, making him one of Sound Avenue's most steadfast artists. Fully formed within the creative confines of his Zurich studio, Jean's fourth Sound Avenue project 'Northern Lights', follows on from 2023's 'Montouk', a five-track affair bursting with charismatic charm and stirring musicality.

Israeli/Colombian DJ, producer and founder of Underground Bloom Records Label, Golan Zocher's career started at the very young age of 17 spinning vinyl in a city where the electronic music scene was just a shadow of Salsa and tropical rhythms. 

Fast forward to the present, and it’s a joy to see Golan collaborating with Choopie on this stellar EP. Golan frames it like this “Make Me Famous EP is a special one because it represents two tracks of different realms, where one is of light and comfort, security and sense of belonging while the other represents a world of confusion, distress and hypnotic darkness. Both tracks for the same night but at different hours”.  
Make Me Famous, the title track is the first half of this equation, with warm pads and lush chords, while Azaia brings a darker element to proceedings. 

We are also treated to a remix by Tel Aviv born and Berlin based Nela, who shares a gorgeous take on Make Me Famous which brings the piano melodies right to the fore.
