Impromptu: Empty Park Bench at Chollas Lake Park

I wrote this poem late at night (or shall i say, the early morning)


God Damn the Rapist
You stole the light from her eyes

God Damn the Rapist
The rest of your life, you live lies

God Damn the Rapist
She suffers in silence, never the same

God Damn the Rapist
You carry GUILT, with a CLEAN name

God Damn the Rapist
You murdered her love and trust

God Damn the Rapist
To pay for YOUR sins, SHE must

God Damn the Rapist
In my arms I hold her, all I can do

God Damn the Rapist
No matter how tender, I'm still you

God Damn the Rapist
Your black soul, intact you may keep 

God Damn the Rapist
What you sowed, she continues to reap
