The second single from Lawrence Philip with his long time collaborator Karissa is a song about someone who is longing to be loved. The lyrics draw somber comparison to the likes of Depeche Mode. Karissa's vocal is ifluenced by Annie Lenox from Eurythmics and the music takes inspiration from seminal synthpop artists from the 80's such as Pet Shop Boys and Erasure. The result is a magical blend of nostalgia and modern sound.
