The Brisbane bass massive have risen to the challenge of remixing soundcloud.com/subsetdubs with the Recoded EP seamlessly sliding from squelchy subs and downtempo roots to dub techno.

Stepping up on remix duties are soundcloud.com/primary_colours_music' soundcloud.com/echoinspectors, Golden Orb's soundcloud.com/integer-dub and a trio of Kingfisha members: soundcloud.com/drewidub, soundcloud.com/nightjah and Echo Dex. They bring their formidable wealth of bass knowledge to SUBSET's hefty catalogue, tackling tracks from EPs released over the last seven years.

Drew Id has supercharged "Space Re-Echoed"s shuffle with a gnarly bass, while Nightjah has given the the lilting "Dub Spectrometry" a deep and spacious treatment. Integer (known in D'n'B circles as Operon) locks up "Dub Cell" in a gritty sub-driven groove, Echo Dex drops horns and fruity flavours on the spaceyness of "The Astrogator", while Echo Inspectors double down on "Decoded"'s deep-tech vibes.

Recoded is the first collection of SUBSET remixes to be released, and, having been a prolific remixer himself, it's time for him to be on the receiving end of musical reinvention.

LAWRiE Minimix 2021

LAWRiE will grab your attention with his tasty flavours of dnb, halftime and 140 the moment he takes over the decks. He can be found at clubs and doofs around his home town of Brisbane, thundering out some heavy drops and flexing his knowledge of bass music. Having come onto the dnb scene just before covid, he has kept himself busy by supporting the scene and networking with other local DJs. 

His 3 deck mixing style will have you intrigued as you watch him double drop tunes like he can't fit enough into his set.  Guaranteed to give any sound rig a proper rinse with sub bass. LAWRiE isn't an act to miss as he will be packing more heaters than a house in the arctic.
