This song has a special meaning to my family and I. Our dog Rosie passed away during the creation of this song. The lyrics took on a different meaning after she passed. She wasn't a pet, but a family member, our Everything. She lived 13 wonderful years, and we are heartbroken. We always called her Rose/Rosebud...She will be missed.

I'm not a sad person by nature, but my family and I have lost a few loved ones this year, and this is song is where I put those emotions. It's a sad/melancholy song with some energy, the lyrics don't speak about loss, but the vibe of the song hold that feeling for me.
