This is my response to this week's @naviar-records haiku challenge. Here's more information about that:

"Star above the peak -
a silk worm-breeding village
silently asleep"
 
Mizuhara Shuoshi was a 20th century Japanese poet. Shuoshi rebelled against the principles of emotional detachment in haiku, which he thought limited his ability to emotionally express himself through poetry: he started a magazine called Staggerbush which focused on a more romantic, lyrical type of haiku.

“In Another Tale” is my new music, and it’s the first track to be published in 2020. Hopefully it’d be a good one and you enjoy it with me, through a journey in the words of our elders, telling his sweet tales about the ancestors. 

“Back in my day, everything was so peaceful, so vivid. Faces of strangers, scents in the air, colors in sceneries, and everything was just true. Back in my day, we used to hear the tales of our great ancestors, just like what you’re doing at the moment. We used to hear them in great pleasure and dazzle. We heard about their great adventures, their journeys, their lives and thought, why isn’t our lives like theirs, so full of action, and so full of life. They told us that our days were never and would never be like their days, just like what I told you. So, all we were able to do is to hear and imagine. You can say history repeats itself, and I tell you it surely does. But, at the end, your life is about your present, just like what mine was about and everyone’s lives are about. Live your life, son. Remember, you’ll have a story to tell someday, make sure it’s a good one. And like everyone, you’ll take part in another tale.”

"في الأيام الخوالي، كان كل شيء أكثر سلامًا، كان كل شيء أكثر نضرة. كما كانت وجوه الغرباء، العطر في الهواء، الألوان في الآفاق، كان كل شيء حقيقيًا. في الأيام الخوالي، كنا ننصت لقصص أجدادنا، كما تفعل الآن يا بني. كنا ننصت في استمتاع وانبهار حقيقيين، نابعين من أعماق قلوبنا. كنا نستمع لمغامراتهم، ورحلاتهم، وحيواتهم، فنفكر إذن، لم لا تكون حياتنا ثرية كما كانت حياتهم، فحياتهم كانت مليئة بالحركة، كانت مليئة بالحياة. فكانوا يجيبوننا بأن أيامنا لم ولن تكون كما كانت أيامهم، كما قلت لك منذ قليل. فلم يكن بإمكاننا إلا أن نسمع ونتخيل ما يقال لنا بعقولنا النضرة. قد ترى أن التاريخ يعيد نفسه، وأقول لك أنه حقًا يُعاد مرارًا وتكرارًا. ولكن في النهاية، حياتك هي حاضرك، كما كانت حياتي وحياة الجميع هي حاضرهم. فلتعش إذن حياتك  يا بني. ولا تنسَ أنك في يومٍ من الأيام سيكون لك قصتك الشيقة لتحكيها، كن واثقًا أن تكون قصةً جيدة. وكما يكون الجميع، ستكون جزءً في قصةٍ أخرى."
