On Saturday, we had a catch up with Nottingham quintet Layby about their new work and how they've developed since their debut EP.

We're a Pop-Punk Band from Nottingham, UK. 
Our debut EP 'BOMBSITE' is out now.

The quintet is made up of Aaron John Bowes (lead vocalist), Neal Arkley (guitarist/backing vocals), Tim Bell (rhythm guitarist), Joseph Ryan Askew (bassist) and Ash Wain (drummer) and are influenced by wide-range of classic and modern pop-punk bands (Blink-182, Green Day, The Story So Far, Neck Deep).

Since forming in late 2013, LAYBY have quickly got to work with recording and writing their debut release. 'Bombsite' is 3 tracks of raw, hooky pop-punk with a hard-hitting edge and lyrical sincerity at its core. They've also recently started work on its followup.

Having previously played alongside fellow emerging acts As It Is and Bentley Park, Kids Can't Fly and appeared at the Macmillan Festival 2013, LAYBY are just getting started and 'Bombsite' is the first mark towards bigger things.
