Bibacumbe is the title track from another stunning compilation dropping on Sounds of Khemit this Friday. Dandara teams up with the powerful vocalist G Zamora for this melodic and mystic afro-latin cut. 

Sekhmet means nothing less than 'she, who is powerful.' The Egyptian deity is a warrior master, a master of healing and the destroyer of the enemies of the light, and she is the inspiration for the label's fourth thoughtful EP. 

Swiss DJ and producer Dandara and percussionist, singer and student of African rhythm G.Zamora kick off with 'Bibacumbe.' 

They combine European and world influences with 'Bibacumbe,' a deep groove peppered with rolling toms and Spanish vocals, infectious strings and soulful synths. Mexican Tanit is a real fiesta DJ who has landed on the likes of Go Deeva. Her immersive 'Nomus' is an atmospheric roller with an airy mystic melody and rolling rubber drums. It's full of life and intriguing natural motifs that keep you hypnotised. Lastly, the versatile VRuno is a music composer and multi-instrumentalist passionate about organic world music and slow techno.

 He impresses with 'Birds', which has melancholic piano chords draped over the heartfelt drums. It's a heady track with a thoughtful mood that takes you deep into the night. ‘Empowering Sekhmet’ features a trio of escapist and evocative house tracks.

Press Info: "The fourth compilation released by Heimlich Musik consists of 15 tracks showing the broadest range of all compilations so far. With the idea to represent the whole musical spectrum that Heimlich stands for, the label sticks to combining newcomers, old and new friends as well as well-established artists. Daniel Steinfels starts off an episode of trippy elements followed by tracks from artists such as Arutani and Hobta, just to name a few, who pick up this idea of spacy synth elements. The first psychedelic episode is followed by rather organic interpretations from artists such as Ulisses, Xique-Xique and many more that drive the compilation to South America and right back again without forgetting about the latest Disco-ish side of the Heimlich imprint featuring a track by the infamous Janefondas. HMWL Premiere: Dear Humans - Restless Bones (Holed Coin Remix) [Sofa Beats]

Russian artist Maksim Batyunin, who is now based in New York City, is fully focused on producing original deep house cuts. His debut release on Beef was a remix of Carina Cooper - this track received a great response.
We are happy to present his first artist EP on Beef featuring two remixes. First remix is by one of the most promising young producers coming out of Paris - Damien Almira aka Timid Boy. The second remix is by Shadi Megallaa, Egyptian producer also living in New York. Shadi is signed with Matt Tolfrey’s label Leftroom for which he worked as A&R as well.
