This was a release of ours from about 20 years ago when i was making tracks with Steve Harris under the name of CLOAKS. Put out as a small run white label by WERKDISCS it sold out very quickly. Me and steve have the only copies i know of.
The original track, 'CUSS VERSION' is by LLOYD ROBERTSON and was released in 1984. This was his version of his own track 'CUSS CUSS' which came out in 1969.

A side:   Cloaks-CUSS. This is a cloaks reworking of the awesome original.
AA side: Cloaks-CUSS VERSION- A stripped down, pounding, steppas sound system track.
Both tracks mastered at TRANSITION-huge.

Cloaks CUSS VERSION

French maestro's Lolito & Doline join forces to make summer bangers for Grid's next venture.

Two of the most exciting producers within the French scene currently, Lolito (TEMƎT) & Doline (Paradoxe Club/Grid) come together for one of France's brightest lights, Grid.

The two have combined to make a four-track EP, the lead track 'Guili Sum' being the sunny, catch club-tool every DJ needs, with kawaï chords glistening throughout. It's backed up by a power ballad version showcasing a slightly more bouncier take on the original. On the flip sees Doline take it long, using his trademark intricate sound design to create a delicate soundscape full of twisted vocals. Lastly, the duo combine for 'Oxblood Fog' drawing influences on all three tracks, giving the EP a sublime close.

"Gravity Always Wins" is the first release on our freshly launched label LAYE AUDIO. A culmination of various influences, with an emphasis on bass, sound design and broken rhythms. Mixing chopped samples, wigged-out FM synthesis and lots of saturation. Representing an aesthetic and sound we currently love to hear in the club: Heavy bass sounds, wide stereo fields and an arrangement which keeps you guessing.

SOS_CARLOSS - Lightoff Dub [LY02]

Berlin Based audio-visual artist and producer Max Dahlhaus contributes his first debut album on Over My Body with his energetic production along with two remixes by by talented Mars89 & Trngs.

First track "And Then It Whispered" was inspired by the atmospheric visuals of the avant-garde film "Valhalla Rising" by Nicolas Winding Refn. As Max immersed himself in thought-provoking silence of the movie, He let his imagination run wild, resulting in an ambient work that will transport people to introspective realms. Title track "Ninsei Lane." is a challenge for Max to create a cinematic but clubby banger in under three minutes. It was a fun task which to explore new boundaries while keeping the production process fresh.The collaborative track "Chrome Spine."with one another talented artists Kronom, which is crafted a club track that adds a whole new layer to the album. The album also including two remixes by Mars89 & Trngs that bring unique flavors to "Ninsei Lane." Mars89 offers a slow, driving interpretation, weaving a mesmerizing sonic journey that complements the original's atmospheric vibes. On the other hand, Trngs delivers a hard-hitting remix, infusing the track with a punchy and energetic rhythm that's sure to ignite the dance floor.

Max Dahlhaus is a Berlin-based audio-visual artist and producer known for his unique approach to music and visuals. His work blurs the boundaries between contrasts like emotional and abstract, repetition and detail, opulence and minimalism. Dahlhaus' music is cinematic, industrial, and experimental, immersing listeners in a symphony of sound. His meticulous production and mixing techniques are a testament to his expertise in the field. He's also known for his captivating visuals, creating an immersive sensory experience when combined with his music.

Aníqua is part of Chemnitz’s small but precious club scene, which is also her home town. She’s resident of Transit Club, hosts an event for bouncy bass music with her friend FLAX, called Lapislazuli and supports & draws inspiration from the feminist network METAWARE based in Weimar.
She’s on a journey of making no compromises with the sounds she selects, going for what she wants to hear and looking for more and more FLINTA and BIPOC producers on the way, because underrepresentation is real! Here’s a selection of some fun and vivid electronic music Aníqua likes to play in the club, dance to or listen to at home.

Ousmane is a friend of ours here in Freiburg, where he came as a refugee in 2019. He first moved from the refugee reception centre in Freiburg to a shared accommodation in Offenburg. This year, he then had to move to Renchen near Offenburg. As he is doing his apprenticeship in Freiburg, this means a 3-hour commute there and back every day. Ousmane would like to move to Freiburg and friends of ours have organized a room in a shared flat for him. But as he can't give notice for his shared container room in Renchen, he has to pay two months' rent. We therefore want to use the profits from this EP to support Ousmane during this time. The overall donation target is €2000 so that he can pay the double rent for 6 months.
