Now I know that cantankerous old coot C J Hopkins used the very same words to describe the current rift in the western world but I can verify that I wrote the lyrics to this song a good month before he did, he just says it much better, and I will quote him here;

"Yes, there is a divide. A great divide. A chasm. A schism. A gulf. An abyss. A gaping, yawning, unbridgeable fissure. A Grand Canyon-sized fault in the foundation of society. A rupture in the very fabric of reality."

been a long time

10 years ago, I recorded the guitar track and then completely forgot about it. I found it last week, but still I don't recall what it was about, it was simply titled "untitled M" for some reason. Trying to remember that year, 2014, I gotta say, it was a very strange one. I was in some sort of limbo, tired, lost, ashamed, so young but with no idea what to do. Maybe it was because of my first trip to Europe, maybe not, but when I came back home, I finally decided to give up on architecture school and study music, the only thing that made me happy back then. And it still makes me happy, but now I'm glad to say it's not the only thing :)
