Each layer has been expertly captured and mixed using completely separate microphone arrangements and analogue processing techniques, resulting in a distinctive character for each layer to fit a variety of musical and production styles.

Pockets Vol.2 SIDE A is a treasure trove of vintage soul and hip-hop drums, including over 100 pocket-heavy loops and over 350 one-shots, each composed of four separate layers: Vintage, Dank, Room, Tight, as well as analog spring "Verb Long", analog spring "Verb Short" & analog tape "Delay".

 

Each layer has been expertly mixed using specific microphone arrangements and analogue processing techniques, resulting in a distinctive character to fit a variety of musical and production styles.

 

All layers can be used independently, or combined for creating a rich and warm sound, opening up a world of versatility.

- Drums used: 20x18" 1969 Ludwig Kick, 13x6.5" Steel Pearl Snare, 15” Vintage Zildjian Hats, 20" Istanbul Dry Ride, Istanbul AGOP Clap Stack, Various Percussion

- All sounds captured, processed and mixed using highly sort after vintage and analogue hardware

- All loops are BPM labelled and formatted as 24-bit / 48kHz WAV (compatible with all DAW and samplers)
