Lay The Favorite is an American Independent Hip Hop and EDM infused band consisting of members Christopher Clipp and SubFreqs. 

Christopher Clipp is a songwriter based out of Ft. Lauderdale Florida with a sound derivative of classic '90's and early 2000's hip hop, and a blend of contemporary sound and content driven lyrics.  

Christopher Clipp is an artist rooted in culture and fundamentals, drawing inspiration from the past, while observing current trends and tailor fitting them to the music he creates. In an environment that encourages following trends, unapologetic, he chooses not to ride the wave, yet refuses to drown. Check out his solo debut album Inclimate Weather on all major streaming platforms.

SubFreqs is an American music producer and engineer based out of Cocoa, FL. SubFreqs has been consistently recognized as an in tuned music producer towards current trends for over 15 years with his signature style and unique ability to cross blend multiple genres.

SubFreqs started out as a DJ in the mid 90's and held residencies at several of Florida's top clubs from Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, & Cocoa Beach while consistently playing the largest venues on the East Coast. In addition, he has hosted several mainstream and underground radio mix shows for the likes of Clear Channel and Cox communications to name a few. He signed on as a remixer/producer for Radikal Records in early 2000 while continuing to work on remix projects of several of the globes top EDM acts at that time. Furthermore, he helped start up Funk Wax Records while working in management at Future Music Distribution and traveling the country DJ'ing shows during the evenings and weekends. SubFreqs has worked with several major artists and several top indie artists in multiple genres of music ranging from hip hop, R&B, EDM, and Rock. SubFreqs is the former CEO of SubFreq Sounds Inc. & Fresh Produce Records Inc. Currently he is the owner & operating manager of FreqStyle Productions LLC.
