This track was one of the first I created with the idea of mixing some beats and singing bowls. I think the final result is quite ambient, but I finally enjoyed the atmosphere this way. My album SOUL PULSE is based of the combination of meditative instruments, metallic textures and electronic beats. It's a kind of travel through spirit and body and I hope you will enjoy this trip!

I read the haiku a few times and imagined a cloud of visibly cool air enveloping a warm lake, a tree and a heron. 

This original version of "Slouch Beneath The Tree With Me" was submitted as part of Naviar Haiku 576, Amongst The Rushes.

I totally LOVE this sign on a stairwell at Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire, UK, so I've enjoyed making it into a track! 😜 It looks to me like the figure is tap dancing down the stairs, so I've tried to capture that a little. Also, the stairs suggest a walking bass, but, as they are clearly falling or tripping, it (obviously) needed to be a little less step-wise! 😁
