Takakuwa Rankō was a haijin from Kanazawa and a student of Wada Kiin. Born into a wealthy merchant family, he travelled all over Japan and finally settled in Kyoto, practising as a doctor. A great admirer of Bashō, he erected a small shrine (the Bashō-dō 芭蕉堂) in his honour in 1783. Among his main pupils was the poet Sakurai Baishitsu.

VS1) Woke up with that feeling that things are being somewhat rigged for a bigger reason. Really? What's to come?
VS2) When you start to see people are more fake inside than out in a day of digital haze; it's got me feeling it's more difficult to find the real ones without having any doubt. 
(Chorus) If the spirit realm opened up & told us what they see, would we confirm our suspicions of what is or will be? 
(OUTRO) How can we ever have true peace of mind when nothing solidly aligns? Without unity hope lays near dead. Isn't this why so many have dread? Not much of a world if all we can do is be left to be grateful for just our daily bread. Need more from life, this is just us being conditioned to kill what's inside our own heads.
