Created using Voltage Modular and a lot of crickets from freesound. 

The synth elements are quite minimal and all driven semi-randomly, there's a fair amount of subtle random modulation built into each element so the final track, while a live take was mostly a mix with only a few other controls.

All the cricket samples were CC0, I'll add attribution and links when I work out which ones I actually used. :)

An exploration of the invisible architectures shaping perception, Perceptual Geometries maps the shifting relationship between sound, space, and the listener.

Across its movements, evolving atmospheres and pulsing undercurrents intersect with hypnotic tonal structures — forming patterns that seem to dissolve as soon as they’re recognised.

This is not music to simply hear, but to inhabit — a framework for altered states, where geometry becomes sensation and perception becomes form.

Perceptual Geometries unfolds as a continuous study of sound, space, and perception — a journey where each track acts as a chamber within a larger structure.

It begins in stillness with Resonant Axis and Inverted Symmetry, opening a meditative space where form and emotion hold in perfect balance. Gradually, shadows and tension emerge in Fractured Horizon and the dense, uncharted descent of Vector of Silence.

Midway, Ecliptic Drift marks an awakening — colour and movement flooding the architecture — before Vanishing Meridian offers transcendence and emotional release. Spectral Coordinates follows as a slow navigation toward uncharted worlds, leading to the quiet self-reflection of Topology of Memory.

The closing piece, Phase Architecture, expands outward into open air, suggesting that the geometry continues beyond the final tone — an unfinished map still resonating in the listener’s mind.

Perceptual Geometries is not background music; it is a framework for deep listening, where sonic form becomes sensation, and perception shapes its own architecture.

This sequence starts in stillness, dips into mystery and intensity, blooms into awakening, and ends in spacious release — a clear arc for both emotional and spatial listening.

Perceptual Geometries is a nine-part exploration of sound, space, and perception by Ambientes Kollektiv — moving from meditative stillness into shadowed intensity, radiant awakening, and peaceful release. Each track is a chamber within a larger structure, where form dissolves into sensation and listening becomes architecture.


A sonic framework in nine movements, Perceptual Geometries examines the shifting architectures of perception through evolving atmospheres, spatial tension, and emotional precision.
