Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore III, the Exiled Queen ending, details an ending in which only Undyne and Asgore have been killed. Toriel tried to claim the throne, but threats of a coup quickly sent her back to the Ruins. Now the Underground is in a state of instability and semi-anarchy. Humans are to be treated as...well, it's unclear right now, but it's not good.

Sans takes the role of Napstablook, though he also serves as a secondary Toriel replacement. Following Toriel's deposition, he and Papyrus have moved into the Ruins to keep the lonely ex-queen company. Sans does his best to keep the Ruins lively in his own Sansy way, much to Papyrus's dismay.
