同じ町に生まれたGiuseppeとSergioはミラノに移り音楽活動を始める。レーベルが彼らのプロダクションに興味を持ち、2012年、Vidab RecordsからファーストEP『A Day』をリリース。その後CurleよりTobiasをフィ－チャーしたEP『Blue Aconite』をリリースし、ヨーロッパ各地からブッキングのオファーを受けるようになる。2014年はDimensions FestivalのPanorama Barやリオデジャネイロでの公演、Vidabからのリリースなど、Hiverにとって重要な年となった。2015年には再びCurle、そしてKann、Appian Sounds、Bokhariからリリース。また2012年から現在までミラノのDude Clubでレジデントを務めている。

-このミックスはどちらで収録したものですか？

ミラノにある僕らのスタジオで、ほぼヴァイナルを使ってレコーディングした。テクニックスのターンテーブル2台とA&H Xone92というベーシックなセットと、Hiverの未発表トラックを含めたデジタル音源用にCDJ1000を使ったよ。


-このミックスのコンセプトを教えてください。

ダンスフロアで、もしくは家で聴きたいって思うレコードをミックスした。今まで盛り上がりを重視したミックスをpodcast用に作ったことは無くて、それよりもスムースなミックスを心がけてる。ハウスとテクノの丁度いいバランスを目指してるんだ。


-最近の活動を教えてください。

機材を新しくしたら新しい音楽への創作意欲が沸いてきて、ここ数ヶ月間スタジオで作業してた。数曲作ったリミックスが来月リリースされることになってる。あと今年CurleからEPをリリースすることも決まってるし、まだ誰にも言えないニュースもいくつかあるよ。
