The blue borders know neither origin nor end. Suspended in a space devoid of balance, we find refuge along the shores of the coast. LAZIC011 kicks off 2025 in style and finesse, as label head honcho Cristina Lazic re-gains her throne with Beach Escape EP. Featuring two dreamy, driving originals in pure Cristinas fashion - one made in collaboration with label A&R Antonio Romano and the lush vocals of Luna Ash - the EP glows with shimmering energy, diving between rolling minimal grooves and evocative epic pads and synths. Enriching the package, Take Notes founder and Sunwaves resident Mahony gives us a sharp, edgy version with gloomy basslines and tight drums. Meanwhile, Amsterdam-based crowd enchanter Lola Palmer opts for a long-play acid yet hypnotic remix for inner, ecstatic sunrise moments.

Daydreaming is part of our nature, a process that is unknown, natural and unknowable. Argentinian-born, now Italian-based artist Aldave knows something about it, as he signs the seventh La Zic release with a dreamlike EP enriched by a remix from Berlinese veterans and Bondage Music heads of Pornbugs. The lead track rolls tight with dubby spacey chords, mental atmospheres, hypnotic vocals, and rolling minimal techno grooves, with the Pornbugs duo going even harder with a stomping version perfectly aligned with their dynamic, enchanted and driving sound. On the B-side, Aldave leans towards more trippy scenarios with fairytale pads, acid, slippery synths, and lean, robust drums. As always, daydreaming.

An endless expanse of water unfolds to the limit of our gaze, losing itself at the edge between dream and reality. Vanishing sounds float like morning mist, with London-based Ryan Paul and his "Blue Ocean" EP, comprising two originals and two remixes by Havoc & Lawn (Solid Grooves Raw, Hellbent) and Javi Miramontes (Mindshake, MUSE). The lead track offers vague dubby stabs, chilled-out house grooves, and charming vocals, whilst Italys duo Havoc & Lawn opts for a gloomy, dark version with tight drums and glitchy elements.
