After 5 years of dealing with an average of 95 to 97% male participants to our production contests, we decided to open an extra edition dedicated to womxn only. With no musical genres restrictions and a jury made out of four of the most influential ladies in the european game, we've managed to gather 50 demos, when it's usually half a dozen. 

Needless to say that we found the creativity and sensitivity that is usually lacking when the contest is open to everybody, that is why instead of 15 tracks, we chose to open the compilation to the 20 best tracks selected by our jury.  

A huge thanks to Anetha, Cinthie, Flore & NVST who took on their personal time to listen to each tracks and massive congratulations to Dylan Dylan, LISA & Azo who respectively won the jury award, the audience award and the admin award.

@mel-c-mel-c est musicienne depuis l’enfance. Elle découvre la MAO à l’adolescence, et compose alors ses premiers morceaux, tout en se passionnant pour l’objet vinyle en fouinant chez les disquaires et dans les brocantes, à la recherche de vieux disques de blues, rock et jazz. Quelques années plus tard, elle s’intéresse au DJing et s’y initie avec rigueur. Elle intègre plusieurs collectifs parisiens en tant que DJ et organisatrice, dont Darkroom avec lequel elle organise régulièrement des fêtes libres – un moyen pour elle de se connecter le plus franchement possible au public. Sa religion : le groove, peu importe le style emprunté derrière les platines 🎈
