Talkism is a good term for my work. By merging the verb talk with the ‘ism’ postfix, I find it perfect to define the global feeling of my surrounding world where too many people and machines talk with very little action to follow. Whether the talk comes from a biased AI, threatening social media, conspirators, or politicians, the goal is usually the same. The words serve the talker’s interests despite potential collateral damages. Therefore, talkism becomes the science of those who are trying to shape the world with their speeches, putting science and human-based social intelligence at risk.

Daughter and Dad

We are a 4-piece Alternative Indie Rock band based in Norwich, Norfolk. Our music takes influence from many sources, with each member having different musical interests. From catchy ear-worm-inducing choruses to the complex and varied drums, we create distinctive tunes that stick in your head. We formed in late 2017, but true to our name, we didn't actually do anything until early 2019; which saw the production of our first EP "Made up Facts". Our collective dream is to get famous without any lawsuits involving bands with the same name or sofa companies.
