Edward has ducked into the Tullolaine Moviola. Darkness has descended upon town and the theater owner has decided to forgo screening a Talkie rather than battle the brash slopes of sound cannonballing down Main Street. He’s put on the silent show he received thanks to the Los Angeles contract-- a picture from the 20s. Edward drifts off to sleep, but whom should he see walk across the screen in that twilight moment of remaining clarity but a beautiful woman plucked from his dreams? And where is his lovely phantom?
