The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Bianco Negativo. “Sera” is the Milan-based duo’s debut debut which arrives on the forthcoming v/a compilation on Milanese label Marguerite Records. The title describes the moment in which everything slows down and takes a breath, allowing the connection between reality and dream.

“Sera” is part of the V/A compilation MRG007, composed of 10 tracks of Post-Punk, New Wave, New Beat, Downtempo and Experimental works produced by Laura Palmer, Daniel Holt, Pasiphae, Raw Ambassador, Religius Order, Gil.Barte, Le Chocolat Noir, Das Ding and Chino. The release strikes an excellent balance between emerging and established artists and the productions are as infectious as the come. 

Limited edition of 50 professionally dubbed tapes, the release is out digitally on April 12th and tapes will start shipping April 30th. Furthermore, sales proceeds will be donated to to Niguarda Hospital of Milan to assist in the COVID-19 emergency. It’s possible to donate from March 16th to April 12th through the pre-order on Bandcamp.

Following up on the label’s first Surviving In Europe compilation, the next installment contains works from 2017-2020 and represents 20 artists from across the continent. Today we present veteran Swedish producer Celldöd’s track which penetrates multiple genres and conveys a rough, rugged reality which only he can deliver.

Additionally they are actively working towards defunding ICE, ending family detention and deportation, and providing much needed Covid-19 relief to many marginalized communities here in LA. Idlestates is a project from Ethan Anderson and Vladimir Toumantsev which launched as a podcast series in 2019. Based in Scotland they look to bring a new element to the already potent Scottish electronic music scene with a string of cassette releases in 2020. Their first compilation, No Portions Volume 1, features the artists; Nghtly, Bad Faith Actor, Harvest of Sorrow, Ludgate Squatter, Black Dahlia, ZAAK, JGB, Swaerm, Puck and Maniaque Nocturne.

The 10 Artists VA moves through Electro-EBM spectrum focusing its sound in a realm of harsh, industrialism and post punk elements.

“Uncanny Valleys” compilation series is related to the theory introduced by japanese robotitian Mori Masahiro back in 1970, referring to the paradoxical perception of the existing similarities between a robot and human beings.
Hereby graphically represented in the artwork as the moment the curve goes under the horizontal axis, Sven incorporated human and non-human elements with collage technique, blurring the line where humans and robots differ.
This first opus is made out of Techno-EBM tracks spanning from old school EBM identity to a more contemporary approach of body music.
The whole compilation was released on the 15 of October in Digital and Textile Flag formats.
Every purchase comes with a .pdf file with the reasoning behind the volume and artists bios.
